Based on his reviews it saddens me to say this but Absolutely the worst surgeon if you're looking for ethics. I was seeing him for a shoulder tear. After 5 weeks of physical therapy, I had my follow up with him. Explained to him that I was still at the same spot as when I started for range of motion and pain during normal activities. He called me a liar, telling me that he's seen hundreds of patients with similar injuries and they had little to no pain after therapy and that some didn't even know the tear existed. Dr. Viehe reviewed the MRI results for my son. He took the time to review the images and discuss the treatment options, while be up front with risk for each. Surgery is scheduled and his bed side manner was great :)
