Dr. Nealis was great! Able to answer all my questions and kind.
Dr. Nealis helped me overcome my fear of colonoscopies and talking about bathroom stuff in general. He was an excellent listener and processed my history quickly and offered solutions and options. I think he's excellent. The procedure was very, very easy thanks to him and his staff. They worked well as a team.
I am very impressed. He didn't rush the appointment and asked a lot of good questions. He has an excellent education that he has combined with a strong communication skills. I left the appoint feeling like I had just talked with the best doctor I could have.
While I do not question Dr. Nealis’ academic qualifications, I am leaving his care very shortly due to his COLD communication style. After extensive GI surgery at NMH, following an auto accident, I was passed on to GI for long term care. I needed PT, guidelines and a new diet. After 3 sessions w Dr. Nealis, I realized that he refuses to converse, except by staring at his screen for the whole 40 min, and at apts 2 & 3 appeared to have no recognition of me as one of his patients! A dud.
