Dr. Crabtree and the staff at Avon Medical Center are amazing! They're always timely, attentive & caring. Living on a small island presents many issues. Luckily, we have an awesome group of caregivers. Thank you, Avon Medical for always putting community 1st!
My husband and I moved from Raleigh to Hatteras Island in 2017 and weren't sure what to expect in terms of medical care. Now we know, and are very pleased. My husband had a minor entanglement with a hand truck, which he lost, and we saw Dr. Crabtree for a very ugly blood and pus filled "thing" two years ago just before the office was scheduled to close for the Fourth of July. We are here from out of town and my youngest daughter (3 years old) got an ear infection and they squeezed in so we didn't have to drive an hour away and the doctor was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! My daughter was really apprehensive but she immediately calmed down when he started telling jokes and letting her look at his ear 1st etc.! I wish he could be our regular doctor!!
