We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As a plein air painting group we were impressed by the variety of scenes to be found on the farm. Fields, ponds, marshes, cedar woods, barns, sheep, farm implements and more. Keith was such a welcoming and helpful host who made sure we could sketch and paint even in inclement weather. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We hope to go back to this beautiful place some day.
Thistlestone is a great place to relax. A cup of coffee and a view of the barns as the sun rises behind you, giving the trees, ponds and barns a golden glow is the best way to start your day.
Thistlestone Farm in beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. There are trails galore and plenty of entertainment options inside when the weather is uncooperative. One of the high points is the host, Keith Lamont. He is welcoming, gracious, and generous. We have spent many days at the farm and always look forward to going back.
