Nick and his team at Thistle in the Woods were superb! We had a 60th party at our home with 60 guests, and his team (including 4 professional wait staff) provided fabulous food and brilliant service including bar duties (RSA qualified). Nick is a thorough professional and knew exactly how to stage and time the food coming out to the guests. The food was outstanding and plentiful. They cleaned up afterwards and departed quietly. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Nick created an absolutely delicious meal for my mum's birthday, and we couldn't have been happier. Every dish was beautifully prepared and Nick delivered it with clear instructions of how to serve it. Communication was straightforward from start to finish, with no fuss at all, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. We'd happily recommend Nick to anyone looking for exceptional catering and will definitely be recommending him to friends and family visiting the area. Thank you again!
We were recommended Thistle in the Woods to cater for a small wedding party of 28 to be held at our home. The food was the absolute highlight. Every single dish was bursting with flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Nick went above and beyond in every possible way to take the stress away. We had a special dinner made and delivered - with incredibly simple heating instructions - and it was MAGNIFICENT! Our family group, with young kids, find it hard to get out for a special dinner… and this way we put the kids to bed and shared in such a delicious, generous and beautifully presented meal. I thoroughly recommend Thistle in the Woods.
Thistle in the Woods was highly recommended to us so we didn’t hesitate to choose them for catering our stand up cocktail style wedding. We chose a rotating canapés service which there was plenty of. Each dish was amazing, our guests have been still complimenting the food weeks after the wedding.
