This company kept saying they would provide a quote, and made 2 appointments to visit the property to provide an estimate and then cancelled both times. Totally incompetent service and a big waste of time! No reason given either.

The painter (Vince) I dealt with the morning the job started was a really nice guy straight away you knew he was a professional. I showed him the colours for the 4 rooms and I left and moved out for the 3 days it was going to take to do the job. So I don’t know if it was just Vince that done the job or if somebody else turned up to work with him. But what a job absolutely brilliant and I’m over the moon with the final result. I will definitely use Thistle again. My only slight moan is the job started a day later than planned... read more

David and Debra from Thistle decorators did a marvelous job. Finishes on time in high quality and with excellent information flow and pictures of the progress along the way.

Complete re-decoration of one room with very high ceilings, including window and making shutters work + one very tall window returned to functioning and painted from a dilapidated state. Painters were on time, courteous, efficient and helpful. The work was completed well and in a shorter time than estimated at a decent price. I recommend highly.

Thistle Decorating Services have just finished the third consecutive room for us and we are delighted with the results. David priced the work fairly and has been a delight to deal with even helping us coordinate joinery work as part of the project. Our woodwork was in a poor state and required a lot of preparation before painting and David and his team have delivered a quality result. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
