The views are beautiful, especially the sunset views. I did notice that many cabins only have views of the house in front of them, which is deterring for visitors here. The main concern is this location is very difficult to find and is rather uncomforting. Had to drive through flood waters on the only road that accesses the area. And the neighborhoods prior to the rental neighborhood are run down and rather "trashy". This exquisite house has not only a private swimming pool but also a pool table and foosball table. The beds, quilts, and pillows are all really comfy. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. With 3 floors there was plenty of room and the balcony provided a beautiful view of the mountains and lake.

Not your typical vacation rental! Very, very clean and comfortable. We will book with these hosts again in the future.

Thistle cottage was a great destination for our family vacation. We are a group of 14 and had plenty of social room as well as private if needed. The staff at Branson Family retreats were awesome! Always friendly, helpful and timely! Highly recommend. Thank you to the entire staff.
