Is this wine country? What an amazing place! The space is very unique, reclaimed wood and vintage accents and a chalkboard menu are all set in a 100 year old storefront. The food was stellar, although very progressive in comparison to the rest of our wine county experiences. An amazing wine list and a little pre-prohibition bar wrapped up the best meal we had while on vacation.

dissapointing – The old saying - a victim of your own success - applies here. I wonder how long they will last, no matter how good the food is, with the rude, indifferent service. I was shocked at how poorly I was treated. The feeling was conveyed that I should not dared have entered the hallowed chambers...

The Emperor Has No Clothes – We go to a lot of gourmet restaurants, this one trys way too hard and misses the mark. The moment you walk in you have to read the only menu on a chalk board and decide what you're going to have before seating. They say this is to save a tree. The items on the menu are diffcult to understand like "bread & fat" translates to bread and butter. The service was a bit surly and self-righteous,. The portions are very small. Our party of four left hungry after having bread & fat and an entree each. The ... read more

Are we in Mcminnville? – What an amazing experience. This place could easily be in Brooklyn (NY) or the Mission (SF). Great space, simple rustic food, fun wines, amazing classic cocktails and the best bar space ive ever been in. We will be back soon!

Citysearch Editorial Review – Portland gourmands breeze down Highway 99W for a chance to eat at this rustic-meets-modern wine country restaurant. Just off McMinnville’s main drag, Chef Eric Bechard turns out product-forward, modern American cuisine imbued with seasonal and regional touches as in a flawless Dungeness crab soup. Diners fill a charming, 26-seat dining room framed by bold, thistle patterned wallpaper, then order from a chalkboard menu hanging above. The comfortably priced menu changes daily but might include suc... read more
