Is this wine country? What an amazing place! The space is very unique, reclaimed wood and vintage accents and a chalkboard menu are all set in a 100 year old storefront. The food was stellar, although very progressive in comparison to the rest of our wine county experiences. An amazing wine list and a little pre-prohibition bar wrapped up the best meal we had while on vacation.
dissapointing – The old saying - a victim of your own success - applies here. I wonder how long they will last, no matter how good the food is, with the rude, indifferent service. I was shocked at how poorly I was treated. The feeling was conveyed that I should not dared have entered the hallowed chambers...

you've got to be kidding – this guy got into a fistfight over the origin of a pig in a portland oregon " cook-off"-- read about it in the new york times-july 11th. what a silly, meaningless thing to care about. god forbid that someone should use some italian olive oil. read my blog at primachef.blogspot
Citysearch Editorial Review – Portland gourmands breeze down Highway 99W for a chance to eat at this rustic-meets-modern wine country restaurant. Just off McMinnville’s main drag, Chef Eric Bechard turns out product-forward, modern American cuisine imbued with seasonal and regional touches as in a flawless Dungeness crab soup. Diners fill a charming, 26-seat dining room framed by bold, thistle patterned wallpaper, then order from a chalkboard menu hanging above. The comfortably priced menu changes daily but might include suc... read more
