Great experience. Repeat customer. My ribs were not as moist and tender from previous orders. The cabbage could have steamed longer, it was too hard. The catfish was perfectly seasoned. The Mac and cheese was delicious as always. Nate was great. He gave excellent service. There was a wait for the ribs. He offered me a complimentary drink while I waited and kept me posted on the status of my order.
I’m writing this not because of the quality of the food. I've always enjoyed your cooking but because of the unacceptable value I received for what I paid. I placed an order totaling over $100, which I had no issue paying. However, what I received, particularly the chitterlings, was extremely disappointing. This is a soul food restaurant with the workings of a typical Jamaican restaurant; namely, they have everything already cooked and in front of you behind glass, and they make a platter out of whatever you order. Very simple system, and it works. It is definitely some of the best soul food I've had in Atlanta, including some of the moistest chicken tenders. I'll definitely try it again if I get the chance.
