I’ve been a patient of Dr. T’s for a little over a year. The times that I’ve seen him, I’ve liked him. He didn’t act rushed. He explained things. I have found, however, that follow-through is in the hands of the PAs, nurses, and office staff; and, it is substandard. If you need a prescription refill authorization, or if you call and request a call-back from a nurse or PA, be prepared to wait at least a week, maybe more - and then only after calling them back to remind them. Another recent negative follow-through issue: I had... read more

Let me start by saying I have no problem with Dr.T or his N.P. My problem is the front desk, why would I continue to go to or call an office to speak to an argumentative person. When I call I expect to be treated with courtesy. The times I called I only had insurance questions but I was met with someone who couldn’t explain process just argue “that’s just the way it is”. The front desk is the first impression of an office, if I get someone disrespectful at the very beginning, that sets the tone for the whole visit.

My experience was absolutely absurd. After going to him and following protocol to go to research Center I wasnt told what they were injecting into me and within days I was hospitalized. His exact words were WELL WE PUT YOU IN THE HOSPITAL. Another appointment I could hardly walk went and I had to see his PA when explaing symptoms she actually asked me DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF DRS OFFICE YOU'RE AT. I wouldn't give him another dime and his front office people are so cold like they could careless about you.

I am presently a patient of Dr. S Thiruppathi but actively seeking another GE physician. Two attempted preps for a colonoscopy failed. Several years ago, I went to an orthopedic hospital's ER because of an impacted colon. Two of Dr. T's peers called and literally begged him to admit me to a Med/Surg hospital in Columbus, GA, to no avail. I am also a pain management patient and pain meds put my colon to "sleep"; I believe a good doctor can deal with difficult cases. I cleaned myself with a stick.

I have seen Dr. Thiruppathi several times and he is always in a hurry. He does not take time with his patients, and does not allow them time to ask questions or explain what is going on. I make an appointment to see him a few weeks ago and to my surprise I saw his pa. I tried to explain what was going on. She did not hear on word I said. I was schedule for a test, and became very sick right before the test was to take place. Tried to explain what was going on. they made me so mad I canceled.

I have been going to Dr. T for the last 2 years for a family member. He has always been attentive and thoroughly explains his findings and how he will be treating them. Now I'm going to him for my own gastro problems, again he thoroughly explain his findings and what needs to be done so I could feel better. I would recommend Dr. T. to my friends and family

I had an appointment with Dr. Thiruppathi this afternoon(10/11/2016). I have been seeing him for somewhere near ten years. I had been seeing gastroenterologists for decades and it wasn't until I started seeing Dr. Thiruppathi that my conditions improved drastically. He is kind, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. He's up on latest treatments, medicines, tests, etc. His practice has an attached on site surgical facility so going to a separate hospital is unnecessary.

they chronically overcharge their medicare patients. the office manager is a very unprofessional incompetent person. when it comes to billing disputes they wont even look at your proof. if your doctor refers you to them expect a real bad experience when it comes time to pay as they will double-bill & overcharge you.I advise you to SAVE your reciepts & report them so they cant keep doin this.
