Beer tasting Two floors of beers to choose from... imported or domestic. They offer small sizes so you can taste lots of different beers. Food is interesting, but not great.
Thirsty Monk is great! Great little spot on Patton with yummy beers and great folks. Babies and Beer on Tuesdays is fun and laid back. This is a great place to enjoy a pint and to meet other local families.
Thirsty Monk Babies n Beer is great! It's so nice to be able to talk to and meet other families in a more laid back environment. They have a delicious selection of "sipping" beers (no, people don't go in there with their kids, chugging bud lights and getting hammered). It's alot of fun!
In praise of Babies n Beer... Great new place in Asheville with some very tasty selections. I'm reviewing this place regarding Babies n Beer night. You wouldn't think to put the two together but the owners have a young one and they know first-hand how important it is as new parents to establish a sense of community. So my husband and I enjoy going for a pint with our son in the late afternoon before dinner and letting him met and play with all the other kids there while we branch out and interact with other families.
