I almost want to gatekeep this place because Patty is a MAGICIAN. As soon as I walked in, she clocked my hair type and told me the style I chose was perfect for my texture and face shape. She expertly took off a ton of bulk (I have super thick heavy hair that can get very flat) without losing the length and gave me gorgeous layers and a V-shape in the back with face-framing curtain bangs. Patty is very kind to different client hair textures. Her team keeps the salon facility incredibly hygenic. She is professional, versatile, and effective. She cut my hair (very silky smooth) and my friend's (super thicky and curly) and produced amazing results. Her hair cutting process is low heat and healthy for hair because she also uses clean and well maintained shears, products, etc. I would bring cash only and schedule appointments 2 weeks ahead of time. Amazing experience! Very small business so you will have to call and schedule ahead of time and remember to bring cash. Patty was great! I went there with a few ideas of what i wanted and took the time to help me choosing the right one! My hair is very fine and thin, which makes it quite hard to cut it precisely. I wouldn’t recommend this place. As the other reviewer mentioned, my first experience was great, so I decided to come back. However, after that, I had a horrible and rushed haircut. I explained to Patty that I just wanted a trim, but instead, she gave me a thin and choppy haircut. The appointment was rushed and was only 20-30 mins, although the first time she spent 1 hour cutting and styling my hair.
Patty was incredible! She gave so much attention to detail and tailored the cut to my specific hair texture and volume and discussed her thinking thoroughly with me before cutting. Beyond her technical skills, Patty is a great conversationalist who made me feel cared for; she gave me in-depth advice on how to wash, style, and care for my hair and scalp. Definitely coming back again! Price: $40 cash
