I'd recommend a birth class to any expectant parent. I feel like they used to be more common and then as birth got more medicalized, birth classes became less popular. I think this is a mistake. I feel far more empowered going into my birth after having taken this class. It was really informative and our instructor, Helen, was really great.

This class was incredibly informative and the people teaching it were so nice. It’s obvious they care and want to be helpful; they are available to answer questions by phone and email outside of class as well. They are also super balanced in the information they share - not biased or pushy at all. Definitely recommend this class to anyone having a baby or interested in birth/newborn care.

We could not be more thankful for the 6-week birthing class. We felt much more informed and gained more confidence entering our own birth journey. Thank you especially to Helen for being a kind, caring and engaging teacher. We hope to maintain this relationship with Third Coast Birth once our baby girl arrives in the next week!

The childbirth education class, taught by Shawna + Lauren, was helpful, comprehensive, + inclusive. We will be first time parents + we are feeling more confident in our shared knowledge to enter this part of our lives. Thank you, TCB&B!
