I reached out to see if there is a PTSD specialist available, and was offered a last minute appointment the day before... Then bombarded with emails and messages in the morning saying the appointment would be cancelled by a time deadline of 1.5hrs before the apptmt time unless I made advanced payment (I woke up after this time). Apparently their clinic takes payment before the service, for all sessions as they just prefer it that way - and clients have to store their credit card details for it but it's not overtly disclosed ... read more
Emma is the best medical professional I have ever met. She has helped me through so many challenges and I do not think I would be here if she hadn’t persevered as much as she has. Her psychological techniques are great, but she is also willing to try different approaches which is very rare to come across. The reception staff are also very welcoming (and great on the phone too)!
The staff here always make me a cup of tea before my session, I think that's really nice. I've only seen two therapists here so I can't speak for everyone but both were very gender affirming and one even specialised in transgender care (while I was there for something else). It is on a main road and you can hear traffic from inside the building, if that's something that bothers you during therapy.
