This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. Once I heard that Thimble Island is closing their doors, I decided to finally pay them a visit. The brewery is located in a separate building with plenty of parking space around it. They have both indoor space and outdoor patio. I haven’t been there in a while but the beer selection was great and the bar staff super knowledgeable and friendly. I just read about the renovation so I’ll be coming by soon. W moved out of the area for a few years but we’re back. Looking forward to coming in. Cheers!

The beer is Fantastic!!! I had 2 Poseidon's porters and a Hero pilsner..... the porter was one of the best I've ever had...The pilsner was solid, but not outstanding. STILL it was better than anything you'll buy at the store... what really stands out is the food!!!! I had a pastrami sandwich with garlic truffle fries....all I can say is.... OMG!!!
