Referred to Dr. Hughes twice in one week by ER. Blockage causing kidney to swell. Today, PCP told me I needed Urological ASAP. I tried twice to get appointment with Dr Hughes twice as instructed by ER and was refused appointment. Office staff told me Dr Hughes has to approve all appointments and she declined to give appointment. Thank God my PCP was able to get me appointment with Urologist in Houma. Will never use this clinic or recommend to anyone.
I don't know about the doctor's, but the nurses there who I engaged with don't even fake like care about patients.
I’m only giving them one star. If I could give them less, I would. I made an appointment two weeks ago. When I showed up for my appointment today, they informed me that my appointment was canceled because they called and never heard back from me. They didn’t even have my correct phone number and didn’t bother asking me for it when I called to make the appointment. I work 2 hours away and had to take the afternoon off to get there. After a shortfall of Dr Hughes’ nurse, leaving me with out medication for 3 weeks, I contacted the office manager. Because I contacted the office manager and reported an issue, Dr Hughes “terminated” me as a patient and banned me from the entire clinic, but forced me to come in one last time to review lab results. She is unprofessional and arrogant.
Dr Hughes has horrible service! Won't even allow the patient to ask questions. Definitely would not recommend. Rush you in and out that's all she is concerned about! Go somewhere else!
