We bought all new widows for our old house from Thermoproof starting in 2001 and continuing over the next 5 years. We have been very happy with them. 20 years later we had one hinge failure and Dale (a pleasure to deal with) replaced it free of charge. Now that is service!
I'm a contractor, bought from Thermoproof for years when I needed basic budget windows for working/fixed -income customers. After years satisfied, they've had changes in personnel and functioning. Most recently I entrusting a top customer/young family to them for screens. They farmed out the job, subcontractor did it sloppy - misaligned/dangerously sharp corners, cheap gasketing that failed, etc. When I told Thermoproof they half engaged then ignored for 2 months, finally refusing to fix, proposing a redo at still more cost.... read more
We recently purchased replacement windows from Thermoproof and are very happy with the quality of the product , staff was friendly and professional thru the entire process The installation was completed by Marty and Bill who did an excellent job .We would highly recommend Thermoproof windows .
I went with this company, not because they were cheapest, but because they were local. That was a few years ago and at the time, I was happy with the results. Fast forward to now when I need some service on them...they're non-existent after three requests to get me a quote for these repairs. Very disappointed in their after-sale service. ! I now have to go to another window company for the repairs I need.
Ordered a window to match the windows in my home. Was exactly what I expected and manufactured within the time frame they indicated. Very happy with the quality of the window. I installed the window myself as per the instructions provided to me.
