I was delivering in North Charleston and My thermo king tripak alternator went out in Ohio when it was 7 degrees. I had some extra time so I stopped in to this thermo king about 9 am on the 24th, the gentlemen told me he can get me in but due to the service may take a few hours, I said appreciate that they can get me in and they can have the time, I am not one of those drivers that have an emergency get a favor done for me and then pressure the employees cause of time I appreciate and show respect. As an owner operator finding honest mechanics is key and these guys are it! Very knowledgeable, I was having electrical issues with my Freightliner. I described the problem and they got straight to it, wasn’t even charged a full hour, that’s honesty! Explained to a prior mechanic the same thing and said he’d need at least a couple hours to work on it.
