We have a family member in the ICU here now and they are not considerate or respectful with this medications. They are neglecting him and he has been tortured and uncomfortable for 3 days now. Last night NO doctor visited him for over 12 hours. The nurses have made many mistakes with medication. We believe they are trying to kill him in the hospital my overmedicating and not listening to his requests. They are treating family members terribly and the patient even worse. Beware of balance billing practices. It is federally illegal. Hospitals will intimidate you into paying fees that are not owed. Contact your insurance carrier if this happens to you so they assist in a formal appeal between the doctor and hospital. Or contact the billing department where the procedure took place and make them aware that balance billing is illegal.
