I would like to preface this review by simply stating that I understand how others will have varying experiences when seeking help from a therapist. I am writing this review to inform those who plan on attending sessions with her. To be precise, it worries me that she still continues her practices, especially with adolescents. My experience: When I was 13, I saw Cynthia on a weekly basis as I needed assistance with my PTSD. I am now an adult, and withhold the capacity to reflect on how unethically she conducted our sessions.... read more
Cynthia is an exceptional therapist. Compassionate, wise, forthright and never judgmental-- she's been transformational in my life. She understands women, trauma and the psyche in extraordinary depth. I couldn't recommend her enough. She's also put together a really amazing team in the LA Therapy Network.
