I suffer from sickle cell anemia and have covid-19 at the time! The doctors and the nurses were very rude to me, late with pain medication and yelling at me like it was my fault. I don't know if it's because I'm African-American / black but people in higher positions should not condone and act this way with patients! I will never ever come back to this hospital or recommend anyone else to go there. I have suffered issues with dizziness, visual vertigo, body sway, and balance for years. I saw several different specialists and went through many tests, but could never find relief. Vestibular physical therapy with Hermelinda Hernandez was the one and only thing that turned things around for me. She also helped me with issues with hip and ankle which were greatly effecting my balance. She not only listens to me, but she remembers me and personalizes our PT sessions.
