About 3 years ago, my son started pre-k. He was suspended almost immediately. It started a long, hard journey for us - one filled with meltdowns, struggle, and heartbreak. As a single mom, I did what I could. I got him on the waitlist for a diagnosis. It took over 9 months - but we finally got it. And then I managed to get him into an ABA for 32 hours a week. Therapy & Beyond changed our lives for the better. My son went from having massive, destructive meltdowns to naming his feelings, asking for time and space, and processing appropriately. My son has been attending for 2 and a half years, we love it and he loves going everyday. He has made great progress and is able to have fluid conversations, something we weren’t sure was possible in the near future. He has made amazing strides.
Our 5-year-old son has been receiving ABA services from Therapy and Beyond for over 2 years and it has been life changing for him. The progress he’s made is a testament to the staff’s competency, compassion and kindness. Everyone, from the RBTs and BCBAs to the administrative staff, is phenomenal and takes a genuine interest in each client. We are incredibly grateful to have found the amazing team at Therapy and Beyond!
