UPDATE: I’ve added regular dry needling by Dr. Aranda, also at Therapeutic Massage, to my regimen. This combined with massage has been the best treatment for my migraines/tension headaches. I’ve had dry needling in the past, however with Physical therapy offices they’re often restricted with how many needles they can use. Dr. Aranda uses as many as required to work the problem area. Concerning practices! During a massage in August, my male therapist fell asleep while I was disrobed, only intermittently applying pressure to my neck as he nodded off which was triggering as a sexual assault survivor and could potentially worsen an injury. I reported the incident, but on my next appointment, the same therapist walked into my chiropractor treatment room while I was face down to check on me, despite my clear request to avoid him.
