I'm a 73-year-old woman recently diagnosed with A-fib, Heart Failure & Kidney injury. Within the first couple weeks after diagnosis, I found I could not walk to the bus to go to THS because I couldn't breathe. Nurse Ratched & Christy (head counselor) did not care. "Rules are rules." Let’s be very clear here: THIS ORGANIZATION IS FOR A VERY SPECIFIC DEMOGRAPHIC! As a normal person who came into the lobby, I immediately heard staff checking in guests for “Mental Health Court” and “Drug Court”… The clinician I met with said their specification was for a very specific group of individuals who have “Concurrency Disorder” . If you don’t know what concurrency disorder is, it’s just someone with a mental health disorder who uses drugs to cope therefore it creates this weird cycle. When I was a patient here they had a predator as a counselor, about 7-8 years ago. They tried everything to keep me from making a complaint.
