I was hesitant to do virtual physical therapy as I’m sure most of the people reading this are. However, this was one of the best things I could have ever done for my mental and physical health. When I first started working with Dr. Arpit Pathak i couldn’t move my right arm or shoulder at all. Every time I took a deep breath a rib on my right side would sublet or pop out of place. I worked with Arpit for about 16 sessions. I had disc problems in my neck, and had been taking muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories 24/7 to help with the pain, for a few months. After just 2 weeks of intensive physical therapy with Arpit, I was able to cut back on the need for these pills dramatically, and now 17 sessions later I barely ever need to take them. Dr. Pathak made PT enjoyable with his fun, engaging style. His explanations of scientific research and anatomy helped me understand why specific exercises were necessary. I appreciated learning the "why" behind treatments—this knowledge enhanced my recovery journey. Dr. Pathak provides exceptional care while educating patients in a way that suits their preferences. I worked with Dr Arpit. His instruction and patient approach was welcomed. Not only was I given exercises that strengthened my injuries, but I was also given valued information as to why my injuries were present, how they functioned and what was necessary to begin healing them. Most importantly, he has given me hope. Something I didn't have for a year and a half. 10/10 would recommend the good doctor for anyone needing a physical therapist.
