Solid MEH all around. There were a couple misses on the food: the Thai iced tea was watery because they used milk and sugar instead of condensed milk (which they did remedy when I called them on it); we ordered a pork green curry but got chicken; the "brown rice" was white rice that was dyed a strange shade of purple. Thep Lela may have won awards 7 or 8 years ago but now it's just an average strip mall place. Plus, the wood frame around the table needs a good cleaning to get rid of the stickiness. This place used to be my favorite. I do not know if they sold the business, if there is new management, or if there is just a new chef, but the food is now horrible to the point of inedible. Last week I went to lunch and was given the incorrect dish. By the time we could get the server to help it was too late for us to get the correct order since our break was over. Fabulous Thai restaurant in the Strawberry Center. Way in the back where the parking is easy. Wonderful green beans with beef, kee mow, and pad se-ew.
