On Monday, April 13, 2026, we called Theodore Veterinary Hospital to ask about the cost of cremating our 14-year-old Labrador, “Half-Pint”. Since we are both retired, we needed to know the price in advance. We were told that the basic package was $200 and that packages increased to almost $400 depending on what you wanted. WARNING: MALPRACTICE, THEFT, AND NEGLIGENCE Dr. Roland Maertens murdered my cat, Bagheera. My cat was malnourished and weak after being lost for weeks, but he was stable and vocal. I took him in for a check-up, and Dr. Maertens insisted on anesthesia for a "deep abscess." I warned him Bagheera was too weak, but he promised surgery would ONLY happen if bloodwork passed. Didn't recognize the place with the expansion and renovation. Nice new facilities. Staff are still great and patient helping us with the dog. Appointments recommended.
