Had a fantastic experience the nurses and the doctor and anesthesiologist were all top-notch professional!!! Endoscopy went very very well
They have always taken me in right away and I've never waited more than 10 minutes for the dr. He's very professional.
This Doc perferated my mother during a E.R.C.P. I have told this story to 4 other doctor's and all were shocked.
I saw Dr. Schafer for a colonoscopy in December 2024. I am a 44 year old woman who had been experiencing GI issues for months. Dr. Schafer was dismissive of my symptoms and concerns, condescending and was convinced that it was hemorrhoids. Dr. Schafer was wrong, it was colon cancer. His delivery of this information was less than professional and after I sought treatment in Boston, I learned that Dr. Schafer had missed a 12mm polyp which caused me to have an additional procedure before my colectomy. You'd be better off going to Veterinarian. THE WORST bedside manner. I have never felt SO BAD GI wise since my colonoscopy with this man and it has been over a year. And as a bonus....picked up "CDiff infection" from that colonoscopy. Then...HE..."fired me" as a patient. Good Luck!
