Dr. Buggs did 2 total hip replacements on me one 2017 and the other 2018 and is the best orthopedic sugeon,unfortunately I don't have Kaiser anymore,I really wish I could see him again I have done remarkable
The best doctor KP has to offer. I was misdiagnosed for 5 years from other doctors at KP. I saw Dr Buggs, and he diagnosed my issue within minutes.
I like Dr. Buggs. He is a people person and is a very good doctor! He explained to me about the importance of losing weight in getting a hip replacement. He was the only one who fully explained what could happen if one did not lose weight to their approval. I had gone to another Orthopedic doctor in the pass regarding a knee/hip replacement and all I was told was I could get an infection. Dr. Buggs is an outstanding surgeon!!! We're so blessed to have had the info to select him for my husband's hip replacement. We had the opportunity to discuss the specific procedure with our children who are also in the field of medicine. Thank you so very much Dr. Buggs!!
Refused to look at anything but x-rays, insisted there was no visible problem. Finally talked Dr. Buggs into a physical exam, where he immediately discovered severe bursitis and provided an injection to alleviate the pain. The office will only give these injections once a quarter, and we were completely unable to get a second one despite multiple calls.
