I had a good experience with him as my primary about ten years ago.. I recently consulted with him regarding a manageable women's health issue and he told me to get a therapist. Demeaning, almost mean-spirited. So disappointing.
Dr. John has saved my life on 4 office visits where he found stage 1 breast cancer not showing up on a recent mammogram. Then after the breast surgeon removed it, he found another cancer beneath it. Same thing in the other breast 2 yrs later with one cancer that didn't show up on the Mammogram either. Another time Dr. John said I had appendicitis and to go right into the emergency room. My family has been going to Dr. Bob for over 20 years. He is a compassionate, caring, and great doctor. He listens. He doesn't rush to a diagnosis without really understand omg what is going on with you. I would recommend him to anyone. He also has a great office staff.

Very poor service from office staff
The office receptionist refused to make me an appointment based on the erroneous information that I had Covered CA ( I do not, I have a private marketplace PPO). Despite my efforts to resolve the misunderstanding and my questions as to what I need to show to prove that my policy is in fact one that is accepted by the office, I was told simply that "She does not know." I have been seeing Dr. Desai for 3months now and have found that he is a very caring and good Dr. He takes his time and covers everything and makes me feel good about myself.
I have been seeing doctor Okerblom for probably 15 years and I absolutely love him I am extremely comfortable with him and he pretty much tells you how it is and doesn't try to go around the subject at hand I believe dr. Okerblom is a wonderful doctor
Dr. Desmond & his staff have helped me through some really rough times and good times also. I feel very lucky and especially grateful for the care he & his staff provide.
