I've been a member of the gym for two years. I wanted an environment that was safe and available (something about whole frats at the U gyms is just a little much at a certain age). I love this place!! I feel comfortable as a queer person; I'm transmasc and there are routinely other "me" s at the Gym, which means a lot. I'm always welcomed and greeted at the door. Being open 24/7 is a godsend; as a grad student, I need flexibility and the Gym is really adaptable that way. Some months I don't get in as much but for the price i... read more
