TODAY, 8/16/26 I ORDERED BBQR, POTATO SALAD, LIMA BEANS. MAC CHHEESE !!!!! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD FROM A SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT,!!! THEY GAVE ME BURNT TASTING BEANS, MACCHEESE NOT MELTED, HORRIBLE SAUCE ON RIBS !!!!! I WOULD NEVER ORDER OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE !!!!!!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD CLOSE DOWN FOR GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This soul food spot is pretty tasty. I ordered the golden fried catfish. The catfish was crispy and their homemade batter was delicious. For my sides I got the candied yams and the collard greens. The candied yams were so good! I definitely enjoyed that side and the collard greens were okay. The meal came with a side of cornbread. My mother ordered their fried pork chop and got the collard greens and mac & cheese. She did mentioned that the mac & cheese was a little dry and could have been a little more creamy.
Went here today first, let’s start with overly priced The food was nasty, The chicken has no flavor whatsoever. The mac & cheese was thrown together, elbows with cheese no flavor the collard greens has a strong taste of vinegar The cornbread and candy yams were about the only thing I really liked
