I would not recommend Diaspora Catering, especially for something as important as a wedding. I hired them for my wedding on June 20, and what should have been a joyful day turned into a stressful, embarrassing situation because of their extreme unprofessionalism. They were supposed to arrive by 9:30 AM for setup, but they didn’t show up until 12 PM—almost three hours late—despite repeated calls from us. The Food is Great, The Diaspora Foods did a presentation at an event, they have a historical and spice perspective they present. The food and vibe is right so check them out, you won’t be disappointed, in my opinion.
The Diaspora is the place you want to spend your money on. The customer service was exquisite and the food came out in a timely manner. I had the Rasta pasta. With all the spices mixed together it’s giving a tropical paradise popping in your mouth. 10 out of 10. My boyfriend bought the oxtails and this dish was very delicious as well. Mouth watering with great taste and flavor 10 out of 10 for him. The sides are bomb as well!!!! Please come and support this black owned business the food is great and it’s worth the price!!!!!
The Rasta Pasta, Jerk Chicken, and cornbread I had last night was EVERYTHING!!!!!! The perfect amount of spice and flavor….seasoned down to the bone!!!! I’m talking finger licking smack your mama good! 🙌🏾
