My husband had a hand injury and we went here to get an x ray to see if it was broken or just sprained. The x ray clearly showed a break. Even my uneducated eyes could see there was a break. The nurse practitioner (who was excellent) could see there was a break. She said the x ray is going to go to a radiologist because there were other parts that could have fractures and we just want to see and that the radiologist will probably say he needs to be seen by ortho. The doctor literally refused to help me with my problem. Just turned away from the room. So frustrating. He spoke down to me the whole time too.
My daughter was seen today by Dr. Carlson, and I am very dissatisfied with the care she received during this visit. Prior to leaving home, I took my daughter’s temperature, which was 100.3°F despite having administered both Tylenol and Motrin. She was visibly very ill, with significant redness and discharge from her eyes, as well as a substantial amount of pus draining from her ears. I have never in my life been so disgusted and disappointed with treatment at an urgent care. I have been to this urgent care many times and never had any issues, today was an exception. I saw (and I say that extremely loosely) Dr. Vongsa and have never been so insulted at a visit. I have been sick for over a month, I have been on multiple antibiotics and seen multiple doctors to try and figure out why I’m not getting better.
