On September 21, 2023 I sustained spontaneous tibial plateau fractures and temporarily lost my eyesight. My eyesight would come and go. I had blood clots from my thigh to my ankle. My orthopedic surgeon ordered a lever locking leg brace and a wheelchair. Miss Dawn at Thedacare at Home in Shawano said that insurance wouldn't approve the leg brace or wheelchair. She lied! I went in for an apt and Donna, who is from the Appleton office, comes down to shawano office twice a month. Was rude, talking down to me, condescending and scarcastic. Angry tone of voice. She was telling me I couldn't get anything during the apt, but ended up giving me the stuff anyways. It seemed as though she was deliberately trying to tick me off and was attacking me verbally.
