Dr. Theard, her NP and procedural staff are good but the office front desk and staff are horrible. Called several times for 3 months to get an appointment because they rarely answer the phone or call back. If you call during their 2 hour lunch break they say they will call you back and never do. Once you do get in they are super unfriendly. They are rude and seemed very bothered if you have a question or concern as if you’re the in the wrong for asking and to top it off they don’t answering your question.
April 2026 I was visiting Dr. Theard or a staff member (NP or PA) for a routine appointment. I have been seeing this doctor for more than 10 years. Her bedside manner is fantastic and her approach to her patient is professional, and courteous. I hope that if you need a gastroentronologist you choose her. Just ensure your work or retirement health care insurance is taken by this office.
If I could give a 0 I would. First of all, the front desk was rude and very unprofessional. They always hang up my calls or would put me on hold and hang up. Sometimes I had to call 7 times the same day so I could maybe get an appointment… if I was lucky. Last week I received a call from one of my medication providers and she said she communicated with the office to provide me more medication and they said “I don’t belong there anymore.” I didn’t hear about this, not once, from the doctor’s office. I recommend seeking care elsewhere to avoid unnecessary stress. Jalen’s unprofessional demeanor and lack of empathy regarding patient concerns make for a very poor experience.
