The customer service is completely awful and very rude. I just moved to the area and decided to check out Bank of Edwardsville to open an account. First I called their main branch and talked to a guy from customer care, who was very friendly. He told me, due to Covid-19, they were limiting customers inside the lobby but to go to the front door and ring the bell, then someone will come to the door to assist in helping me set up an account. Busey cant answer their phone and is completely unreliable with your money. Run and take your business elsewhere.

Would give negative 5 if possible. TheBank was the best. Ive been with them since 1997. Now that it is Busey... so far nothing but problems. I did not get my debit card. Went to use my ATM and on Saturday and declined at TheBank ATM. No way to cancel the card they supposedly sent in the mail. Then had to physically go to the location today to get.a new Busey debit card.... got off work and it doesn't work and is invalid. Spent 25+ minutes on hold for them to tell me that they do not know why!!! They are changing the website ... read more
