5 STARS! It was meant to be that I found this gem here on the upper west side. It has been years since a professional cut so the experience was not only wonderful, I walked out feeling beautiful! I suffer from social anxiety but the service was exceptional and everyone is so kind. Clean, cozy and took their time. PS they are latina/latino so its a bonus and no brainer! Javier and Elena are brilliant. Super kind. They squeezed me in as I stumbled upon their cute salon after seeing someone walk out with a stellar haircut. They offered me coffee or water as I waited. They shampooed my hair twice before and after the haircut. They chose my new hairstyle per my request, thank you Javi. The way he cut and textured my hair was artistic. I will keep coming back here. Needed a quick cut before catching a train and gave Theater Salon a shot. Javier and his wife Elena (apologies if misspelled) showed amazing hospitality and professionalism. Highly recommend this spot for a men’s haircut.
