RecommendedReally caring and considerate staff here at The Yarn Store at Nobhill. I will visit any and every time I am in ABQ. Plus they have rescue kitties and also an immense selection of high quality yarn for everyone.
My experience at this shop was that the staff were always helpful, and went out of their way to help me find the right yarn and patterns.
Wonderful stop with yarn from New Mexico! Had to buy some and lucky to hit the 20% discount day!

Absolutely the most lovely shop. A huge selection of yarns, various spots to sit and knit, knowledgeable friendly staff and to top it all off... quesadilla the cat was adopted. This shop works with the Humane Society of NM and always has a cat in house to be adopted. Lovely to see a couple take the cat home.
The friendly staff and open door help make it a wonderful place to get all your questions taken care of.
Cool store. There were more guys then girls there. That’s a first in my experience, though not necessarily a good think!
I’m biased because I used to work here. But I LOVE TYS. Like a second home. Kind people, comfy space, and, of course, beautiful yarn, roving, and more.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Warm environment to knit. Super happy that they have expanded & have weaving supplies & classes.
