Although the view is nice, you will see your belongings slowly disappear in a blink of an eye. Five cars have been stolen from the Yard Apartments at the Pencoyd Landing since October 2024. Two cars on December 3, 2024 which included my 2020 Nissan Maxima. Additionally, my GT road bike stolen from the locked bike storage closet and unfortunately my 6 month old Acura was nearly stolen on June 27, 2025. My son recently moved into The Yard at Pencoyd Landing. Michael took us on a tour, answered all of our questions. He has been pleasant and helpful at every opportunity. Actually, all the encounters we've had here with residents and staff has been respectful, helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend if you are searching for a new home.
The location of these apartments is great, but the units themselves are just average. The interior design feels outdated and underwhelming. For the price of rent, you’d expect more—especially when it comes to amenities. There’s only a small pool, a basic gym, a movie room, and a pool table, which doesn’t feel like enough for the size of the community or the cost we’re paying. Michael was a great help with getting us moved in promptly. We were in a bad situation and was able to tour the property, see apartment options, get approved, and moved in all within 24 hours. Michael was the star in helping us out, and we cannot recommend him and the staff more! The apartment has stellar amenities with a walking trail just behind.
