I had The Yacht Rigger work on 3 projects, all three involving custom fabrication work. They created a custom aluminum frame over the cockpit compete with canvas top, a replication of a transmission linkage part and a custom salon table bracket that mounts on the compression post. Amazing customer service and craftsmanship!!! I'm referring all my boat buddies to them from now on!
READ THIS if you’re considering using The Yacht Rigger for any of their services. I have had an absolute pleasure using them for install of my radar arch ordered through another company. When fitment wasn’t up to par they went above and beyond to use their experience and utilities to make it perfect. Evan and Jared showed nothing but respect for my boat through the process and did a great job. Not only are they experts in their craft, but their customer service is otherworldly. Is Stephen the best rigger in the US? The world? Gotta be close. After losing our forestay 330 miles west of Galapagos (thanks to the shoddy work of a rigger in Panama), Stephen personally advised on all the repairs during our emergency stop in Galapagos and has been a constant support as we successfully sailed our boat another 3,000 miles across the Pacific. He gave us back the confidence in our rig and we're not sure we'd still be sailing without him.
2023 Update: Just had the crew at The Yacht Rigger help us out with some repairs after Hurricane Ian and we remain impressed by their work and culture. We needed a new custom arch for our dinghy, paddle board storage, and solar array. Brian did an amazing job taking our wish list and making it a reality, with thoughtful solutions and a genuine caring for the outcome. Other work included window rebedding, hatch replacement, fiberglass repair, and wiring for new solar panels. The entire crew was incredible! 2021: The Yacht Ri... read more
I had a solar install project DIY, with major assistance and help from The Yacht Rigger crew. Their professionalism, knowledge and skill are unparalleled. Brian, Will, Will, Steve, Jesse, Andrè, Carrie and Courtney, (everyone really) were critical in getting my boat up to speed! From the electrical, the welding, the aircon/shorepower issue, the blueprints and direction, everything was perfect. You'll find no better group for all your boating needs. Much love from Tony, Jenny, Zoey and Foo Bird
