I called Dutchess Millwork to inquire if they could duplicate a baseboard molding that was custom made in 1951 when my house was built. They assured me they could, so I took a scrap piece that I had to Dutchess Millwork the next day. The shop is absolutely amazing and the finished products they had manufactured for other customers was really beautiful craftsmanship. We used Dutchess Millwork for our stair renovation project. They crafted our rail, balusters and newell to the exact detail we requested. The walnut ended up being absolutely stunning! Very communicative and professional. Would use again in the future!
I took a 130 year old porch post that was partially rotted at the top and bottom and asked Dutchess Millwork to provide me 5 exact copies to match the remaining posts on my building. The team at Dutchess made a CAD image of the post and turned 5 exact duplicates. The porch posts turned out beautiful. We will be using Dutchess Millwork's services again. I was so satisfied I give Dutchess business cards out to contractors I respect.
Wonderful work. Great attention to detail. Did a fantastic job turning my balusters to match the historic ones in my home. Not many left who will turn wood the right way. Will be working with them for many years to come.
Dutchess Millwork did an Excellent job replicating an old Victorian baluster and providing exactly what I asked for as far as dimensions and quantity (100), all were perfect copies. Superior communication whenever needed during the process. All and all, a faultless experience from the first contact to the well-packaged delivery. I would certainly recommend them for any specialty wood project!
