Do not support puppy mills! Shame on you Woodlands Mall! Close your pet store down!
I too will unfortunatly have to boycott the Woodland Mall and continue to spead the word to friends to do the same if they allow a pet store selling animals from breeders and puppy mills when Houston has one of the highest populations of animals in shelters including purebred who are euthanized daily. INSTEAD you could host adoption events such as the one's petsmart and petco's do from local animal rescue groups. With 1.4 million homeless dogs on the streets of Houston we don't need another "pet" store! As someone mentioned earlier...use the space to promote adoptions from Montgomery County Animal Shelter. We all know that "pet" store dogs come from greedy puppy mills and the dogs live in horrific conditions. Shame on this Mall for having this disgusting pet store! I will be sure to let everyone I know NOT to shop there.
NO mall should promote Puppy Mill dogs. It puts the mall owners and management in the same shoes as animal abusers!!! Shame on you and your crappy, money, greedy decisions.
Do not allow the pet store to sell puppy mill and back yard bred dogs !!! Please ask them to pull and adopt from the local shelters. There are many many many full breed dogs being put to sleep in shelters. ADOPT DONT SHOP......
If the pet store was gone maybe I could give a better review. But the lingering knowledge of where those puppies and kittens came from is all I can focus on when I am there. I'll be taking my business else where until this is changed.
Get rid of the Pet store that sell the puppies from Puppy Mills. These puppies are sickly and the parents of the dogs are abused. There are too many homeless/abandoned dogs that need loving homes.
Sadly, I cannot support a mall that supports a pet store. The pet stores are notorious for supporting puppy mills and I can't in good conscience tolerate that.
Hey Woodlands mall stop supporting puppy mills! The little glass containers you keep the pets in makes the mall stink, because of the lack of cleaning the area where 3-5 pets are crammed in. Support your local shelters!
