What a great experience to find The Wood Shed. I had purchased some Padauk wood for jewelry boxes from The Wood Shed years ago. As an amateur woodworker (aren’t we all) I wandered back into the Wood Shed to look for slab wood to build some tables. I was looking for mesquite when Danny and John showed me some Monkey Pod slabs. Super friendly, beautiful products and a good selection of wood.
I’ve always been fascinated with live edge tables and wanted one for my home. After taking the epoxy basics 101 class and learning about the table making class, I was in! From choosing our perfect wood to guiding me through the entire process, Jon and the other talented designers made building my coffee table an unforgettable experience. I’d recommend this class and The Wood Shed to anyone! A remarkable establishment with a knowledgeable, friendly and creative team who helped me make a work of art.
I signed up for for the Epoxy 101 class and let me tell you, love the experience but the best part was tha Keith the instructor explained everything so well and answered all the questions i had since i didnt have much knowledge. Danny the owner is super friendly and very welcoming. Ever since i started texting him about the class, he was very responsive and gave me updates to remind me of class. If you plan on learning more over epoxy, The wood shed is the place to go. Highly reccomended.
He couldn't have been more helpful. Full of tips and tricks. Super friendly to beginners. And is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have and know what you need.
