It is a shame that this is pretty much the only option for prenatal care in the Manhattan area, I wish I would have gone to one of the neighboring cities for care as opposed to settling for the treatment I received at the Women’s Health Group. A nurse wrote down an opinion she had about me and not a true fact on my first intake appointment. So my entire care was tainted by her words. I was referred to this clinic by my primary in October 2025. An ultrasound and bloodwork (7th) were ordered before seeing a provider at the Women’s Health Group. I’m in a lot of pain, but no biggie, it was still a step forward. Yesterday arrived (19th) for the appointment, and I had a phone call to cover all my current medications, and all other questions a clinic tends to ask. All appointments are scheduled through the Klara app, and I have never actually spoken to a receptionist or staff member directly. When I tried to get a referral, I ran into multiple issues. After finally receiving one, instead of simply scheduling me, they asked me for “current pregnancy records.” I explained that I don’t have official records besides the positive test I got at the hospital when I was seen for being sick — which is how the pregnancy was discovered. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and unresponsive staff. All I wanted was to get a simple shot a year ago. When I scheduled a lab test, I still had to wait over 30 minutes in the reception area—even though I had an appointment. The staff checked me in but never told me when I could go in, despite clearly seeing me waiting and everything being ready.
