I have been going here for years and have always received the best care. Today I went and had three biopsies. All of the staff were incredibly, kind, compassionate and professional. Dr. Kadish was very calming. She explained what she was doing at each step and eased a very stressful situation. My nurse Catie really set the tone from the onset and was amazing. Can't say enough good things about the Woman's Health Center

The staff is nice but I’ve been there twice for an annual mammogram and won’t return. They run a lot of additional tests (eg breast ultrasound) for no reason and these are not covered as preventative. I have received large bills after going in for a standard annual mammogram. In one case, the bill arrived almost 2 years after my appointment. Lesson learned - question whether the treatment is medically necessary and if not, decline it. I’ll be going back to LIJ, where I never received a bill for a covered preventative test.
