I so happy that stepped outside of my comfort zone and attended the first annual Self Love Retreat! I am feeling blessed because I signed up and attended the Self Love Retreat. Upon signing up I knew that it was possible that I might be only one of two Latina Women attending and that I wouldn’t know anyone but one other lady. A month later and I am still speechless after attending the inaugural Self-Love Retreat! As a presenter, I was so excited and had no idea what to expect. I was there prepared to hold space for the healing of the 50+ sisters that attended and I ended up experiencing my own healing as well! The energy that was present is indescribable. I attended the Self-Love Retreat in November and was forever changed by the sisterhood, communal support, and empowerment I felt during that weekend. It was so uplifting to see women of all shapes, sizes, ages, and shades coming together to seek strength and healing from within and from each other. I had never met any of these people before the retreat but I came away feeling like I had dozens of new sisters. I can't wait to attend the retreat again next year!
The 2017 Self Love Retreat was everything I needed and beyond anything I knew a retreat to be. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with love and excitement. I just attended the first annual Self Love Retreat and from the minute I arrived I felt the magnitude of what the weekend would be. Every detail was carefully planned and the experience was mind blowing. We laughed, we cried, we grew, we released. It. Was. Simple. Amazing!!!!! I wish I could do it all over again. Such gifted women and such an amazing experience.
