Love this place. Great community vibe rare in East Van. Re: the review about "the dangers of mixed gender washrooms" how is this a concern when both "all gender washrooms" are single stall?
I went to The Wise in Vancouver for dinner one night, and it left a really good impression. From the moment I walked in, it felt like a place where quality and atmosphere matter. The space is stylish but still comfortable, with a warm vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal.
The fact your male staff think it’s ok by ANY means to lay hands unprompted on a female patron is unacceptable. Not a venue that cares about women’s safety at all.
