I appreciated the cosmetic upgrade to the rooms.The front desk staff was cordial and attempted to be helpful. We did not order / pay for breakfast but the small white bags seemed paltry sitting on the floor outside rooms in AM. It lacked common space to gather beyond our rooms. The hotel rates plus a parking fee seemed quite overpriced for the area. The hotel was eerily quiet and seemed to lack soul with no personality. Will not return.
Had a great 2-Night stay in Room 221. Perfect little room for one person. Loved the old historic building. Bed was very comfortable! I was also impressed with the service of the front desk staff, I had forgotten my room code multiple times, (as I’d unfortunately lost my phone with the code saved on it) and they were there every time to write it down for me and help with anything I needed. Great room. #224. Large room kingsize bed. Very clean. Only problem I had was connecting to internet wifi. Never worked for us. No tv channels either. Perhaps too far from the modem. Excellent location. Dead central to Stratford. Parking included. Shower great. We will stay there again. Stratford has free parking Sunday’s if anyone interested.
