Our family recently visited to drop off handmade Christmas cards for the residents. While there weren't many seniors out and about during our visit, we were happy to leave plenty of extra cards and treats behind so everyone could feel included. The staff member we met was busy and kept things moving quickly, but we were glad to be able to share some holiday cheer. We look forward to coming back again in the future!
Our Mom had been a resident for nearly 6 years at the Winds. The entire staff treated our Mom and all of us with such kindness and compassion that we are forever grateful. They are truly family!
When our mom could no longer live on her own, the Winds was the perfect place for her. She was able to participate in all of the fun activities and events. The caring staff encouraged full participation and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff treated her like family with love and dignity especially when she was slipping away from us in her final months and days. They also welcomed our whole family into theirs. The Winds is a warm and welcoming building! From entering and being greeted by smiling staff to the interactions with other residents, it makes you feel at home. Highly recommend if you are looking to make a move for yourself or a loved one
